Dr. Zayas is caring and knowledgeable in his field. He spends enough time with me and listens to my concerns.

First, my positive experience started by not having to wait beyond my appointment time. Waiting is irritating. Dr. Zayas is very friendly, puts one at ease, is very easy to talk with, he doesn't rush the patient, and he listens! He has an extremely good reputation and after two visits I am optimistic that I am in really good hands for treatment for the illness I have.

Dr. Zayas's staff are very courteous and informative. I had no problem at his office and Dr. Zayas is a very approachable and respectable doctor. He definitely is knowledgeable and his experience shows. Would recommend!

Dr. Zayas is such a a kind, caring, and knowledgeable doctor. He has given excellent advice, support, and treatment through the many crises and ordinary changes and problems my husband has had over these past few years with his Parkinson's Disease. I really appreciated that Dr. Zayas responded in real time when my husband was in the hospital, receiving different substituted medications, and also when I had questions on timing and dosages. We have luckily had many good doctors, and Dr. Zayas ranks on top with the best.

Dr. Luis Zayas, MD. PT communicates wonderfully with my Husband who is one of his patients requiring treatment on a regularly scheduled basis. The doctor explains the treatment as it is performed. He is open to any questions and my husband feels he is factual as he discusses procedures with him.. As a caregiver myself I appreciate Dr. Zayas's time and am always careful to be punctual for our visits to Gem Neurology.

Great experience

The doctor reviewed my experiences over the past few months, made medication adjustments, and suggested some interventions that we might consider. He is very current on his knowledge of treatment for those of us with Parkinson’s and is thoroughly professional.

The office staff were nice, polite & helpful. I was escorted back promptly for my appointment. Dr. Zayas was friendly, thorough, answered all of my questions, made sure I understood everything & that we were on the same page moving forward. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Excellent experience

Dr. Zayas was very comforting to my husband, the patient, and to me, his wife. We appreciated his frankness and help. He also told us about resources and you tube videos that were very informative and helpful. He showed concern for the patient as well as caregivers, which we both appreciated. Dr. Zayas is attentive and genuinely concerned about my son's condition. He explains everything in detail and in terms you can understand. That's why I followed him to his new practice in Clinton. You won't find a more caring Dr.

Beginning with my first office consultation with Dr Zayas, I was impressed with his calm demeanor and unprecedented professionalism. My exam was very thorough, he asked appropriate questions, checked vital reflexes, and somehow learned more about me (with stunning accuracy) than I would have expected. Dr Z has the ability to hear what you are saying while at the same time "hear" what you are not. He welcomes questions and encourages you and your care person to be a part of the plan of care.
